Onboard people into an AI-ready workspace

Alloy gives teams one place to manage human teammates and AI teammates. Invite people by email or shareable invite link, then manage team members and AI teammates from the Staff area.

New people join the same operating space where work, knowledge, conversations, and AI teammates already live.

Every workspace includes Ally, the built-in assistant. Ally can help people find information, understand the workspace, ask questions, and get started without waiting for someone else to explain every detail.

For new workspaces, Alloy can open Ally during onboarding so the first experience starts with guidance instead of a blank screen.

Upload files, create folders, and organize the materials new teammates need. Storage becomes the shared knowledge base for the organization, and files can open in Cowork when someone wants to read, edit, or discuss them with an AI teammate.

This keeps onboarding materials close to the conversations and work they support.

Folders can be shared with AI teammates so each one gets access to the knowledge needed for its role. Ally has full storage access by default, while other AI teammates are scoped to the folders shared with them.

That gives new employees help from AI without turning every document into a free-for-all.

Onboarding is not only a checklist. People need to ask questions, find files, learn who does what, and understand how work moves.
