Draft documents with AI in the workspace

Ally has broader workspace visibility, while specialized AI teammates can stay focused on the documents and folders relevant to their role.

Cowork supports editing existing text and Markdown files. Autosave, manual save shortcuts, and live update handling keep the document connected to storage while people continue working.

For other file types, Cowork can still help users preview or download files depending on the format.

Internal chat supports text, replies, attachments, file mentions, and conversation history. AI teammates can help rewrite sections, summarize source material, compare options, or call approved tools when the drafting task needs more than text generation.
